Gates 0, 8, and 12 open from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM. Students are supervised by the Vie Scolaire (School Life) team until classes begin.

Starting September 3rd for CE1 to CM2 levels, and September 4th for CP, the hours are as follows:

Staggered Arrivals: School entry is staggered by grade level. Gates 0, 8, and 12 are open from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM.

Only families with siblings in Petite Section (PS) or Toute Petite Section (TPS) are permitted to enter through Gate 8.

On Wednesday afternoons, Gate 0 opens at 2:00 PM for students who are dismissed after the lunch service.

After-Class Pick-up: children can be picked up directly by parents at the designated areas:
– In front of the CP building covered courtyard (préau) for CP, CE2, and CM2 classes.
– In front of the lower courtyard gates for CE1 and CM1 classes.
Extracurriculars & After-School: Alternatively, children can be registered for extracurricular activities. These are provided either by the school (after-school care, supervised study) or by parent associations/approved external partners. Once class hours end, the child is under the direct responsibility of the respective activity instructor.

After-school care service (garderie) – 2026/2027 school year

The Lycée Français de Madrid offers a paid after-school care service for CP to CM2 students starting September 14th.
Registration: mandatory via your Pronote account (under the périscolaire tab) starting August 24th.
Options: you can choose between a termly (quarterly) or an occasional/one-off registration. See rates

Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:45 PM to 5:00 PM.
