On May 27th, the International Section Year 10 students took part in an educational trip to Alcalá de Henares. The programme included visits to the archaeological site of Complutum, the Casa de Hippolytus and the historic city centre.
Accompanied by guides, the students discovered the remains of a city with a rich history, shaped by Christian, Jewish and Muslim influences during the Middle Ages. Under a summer-like sun, the day provided an excellent opportunity to combine learning, history and cultural heritage.
